Now...if everything goes well, I shall get some handsome side income by next week....and the wife said, it's your money, spend wherever you want it, if you are happy, I am happy.....darn, I love this woman :p
So, shall I go ahead and order the VP180 + 2 QS8, or change my AVR to Denon 4310??
Or shall I just keep the money and wait for HDMI 1.4 AVR?
Or would it be better to get the final few units of Pioneer 600M plasma on the street (currently having the 50" HD ready unit)
getting the axiom would be the cheapest.....
can the XPA-3 drive the M60 + the VP180 with no problem?
touch decision....

2 QS-8 sounds like a good start.

My advice if it's extra cash, go with which ever line made you smile the most when you typed it.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

I like Murph's suggestion.
The XPA3 should have no problems running the M60s etc. although the VP180 might be a sticking point with it's 4 ohm load. but a single speaker might be easier on it than dual M80s.
Denon is just getting around releasing their new avr's with HDMI1.4a. Yamaha has some out there already.

My first vote goes to the VP+QS, second vote to the plasma, third to the Denon.

...because IMHO you'll notice the most difference/benefit in the Axiom/Pioneer upgrade as opposed to the Denon.

Michael, speakers would be far more significant than a new receiver, and the first suggestion would be the QS8s.

QS8's and some quality full size headphones.
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.
