SVS does offer a variety of finish colors for their cheapest box sub (other than plain black), and a variety of real wood veneers for their higher-end cylinders.

That's true Peter, but note the price on those compared to the Axiom EP350.
They all cost more.
And just how recent did the new colours come on board for that SVS cube?
Axiom has had colours for years now.
Their high end cylinders look amazing. Kinda like how Ken's little woodworking project SHOULD look like.
Send him over to the SVS site for a look see. Maybe the visuals will help.

That's pretty. I also like the heritage walnut. My EC is/will be Early American stained White Oak. Rich, almost reddish brown. Very pretty. My friend picked out some very good wood.
