Does anyone have any opinions on additional stands you'd like to see us offering? I'm thinking colors, shapes, heights, materials, functions - any suggestions?

Hi Amie,
I think it would be nice to offer stands for the QS8s that were adjustable in height. The QSS design is probably a little too short to allow for optimal height of the speaker from the average ht sitting location. I also seem to remember someone saying the QSS' were a little light/tipsy. Maybe it would be nice to have the bottom weighted a little better or maybe allow the stands to be filled with sand/shot somehow.

The only problem I've found with my SS16's is they are light and difficult to fill. A heavier stand would be a bonus.

I've always liked the look and function of the various Atacama stands.

A much heavier build and the ability to have them fillable, are the only things I can think of. They look nice as is. As light as they are, they're fairly easy to tip over, and don't provide a really solid foundation.

I'd like to see stands that match your good-looking speakers! Specifically, I love the original cherry speakers and don't like the way they look with metallic-looking stands. So—how about stands in Boston Cherry? I'd buy them in a heartbeat, even if they cost somewhat more than the competition.

Another suggestion: design them to minimize the effort required for cleaning around them (e.g. avoid little dust-collecting spaces). That way, there's more time to enjoy the music!

Finally, I agree with the other suggestions to make them as stable as possible. Dogs and kids are dangerous to speakers on stands! Maybe make them fillable, and maybe include a little of one of those special materials that removably "glues" the speakers to the stands.

If you follow all my suggestions, you'll have stands that serve their intended purpose perfectly and do so with style and ease of maintenance. What more could one want (in speaker stands, anyway)?

I don't know about 'glue' for the stands but i know what he's getting at.

Perhaps something like a rubber type foam that gives you a friction 'stickyness' kind of like when you sit your bare butt onto a vinyl chair and try to twist resulting in nothing but pain accompanied by an ear piercing squeak noise.

Thanks. As if I needed that visual.

Hey, i've got the visual of that crazy one-eyed dog staring back at me.
He has that, "i've done something and you don't know what it is" look on his face.
It is quite unnerving.

Some fillable 24" and 36" ones with a big sturdy base would be nice.
