Hey,

I'm trying to convince my fiancee that we REALLY need the qs8's and vp150 rather than the qs4's and vp100. Help me out here!!! (Don't worry, she'll never read any of this.) Also, if you had to choose between the vp150 + qs4's or vp100 + qs8's, what would you do?

Thanks all!

P.S. Just got my m22's about 2 weeks ago and they absolutely rock! I was listening to some orchestral music, and I could actually hear the players shuffling in their chairs during the soft sections.

What are the dimensions of your room? Do you usually sit pretty much in the "sweet spot", or are you off axis quite often while watching movies and/or listening to multi-channel music?

If you're usually fairly close to sitting in the sweet spot/area, then I'd suggest the VP100 and QS8's.

Others may disagree.

Yo Spiff,

Dimensions are 15'x12', though that might change when we get married and move into a new home. I usually sit in the sweet spot which is about 8 ft. away from the TV.

I stand with my original suggestion. VP100 and QS8's.

i, we both sit about 10 feet from the center speaker. just traded up from the 100 to the 150. got into dvd-a's, and the 150 sounds so much better to both of us. make a deal, the extra you spend on yourself, she can spend on herself.

My suggestion was based on the premise that you could not get both the VP150 and QS8's. If you can get both, by all means, get both!

by no means was i raining on your parade. just mounted the 150 in the ent ctr, and the combination of the upgrade and the relocation has made a world of difference. when i have time and it's bright outside i'll try to get pics with my dv recorder and send them to amie. it's not the 100 was unacceptable, just that the 150 is terrific.
