When I click on the"Forums" link at the top I get a page with a ton of text hyperlinks and then at the very bottom it says
"OOPS! Sorry, we must have our wires crossed!
The page you are looking for no longer exists.

Please select an alternate destination from the menu below."

Does this happen to anyone else?

I am using Friefox, but it happens with IE too.

Thanks.

Yes it happens to me too! I thought it was a firefox only problem. I am pretty sure the webmaster will fix it soon, despite yesterday problems.

I have not had this happen and I use both IE and Firefox. I do have to log in twice using firefox from work though. First login gets me nothing.

Yesterday afternoon I couldn't login...but, did you all notice they changed all the pictures to the new V3s? It seemed liked that affected logging into the forum.

The darker blue "forum list" link works, but the lighter blue "forums" link does not.

WOW! Just finsished typing a PM, and as I got to the bottom of the text box, as I typed, the text started doing the hoochy coo and jumping all over the place. Definitely something hinky with the forum at the moment.

Either that or there is an issue with the site. You'll have to excuse me, but I have to go back to my reading. Apparently I have somewhere areound 150,000 unread posts to go through. I must have missed a few somewhere...

I'm apparently experiencing something similar to what Jack described: when the bottom of the space for text is reached, the next line of typing doesn't appear, and if clicked down the text jumps back up, concealing the last line. In addition, the text is delayed after each key stroke, taking about a second per stroke to appear, rather than doing so almost instantaneously. I tried a test post at another site and neither of these problems occurred.

Edit: Just typed a four line reply in another thread. The first three lines appeared instantaneously after the key strokes; the fourth didn't appear for about 10 seconds. Strange.

Any chance Axiom has been hacked. I could not log in for a while this afternoon. The browser setting to allow cookies from the axiom site had been re-set. Now I see typing lag on posts and one of my context menues is not showing up consitantly.

The last time this sort of browser behavior started, my computer had been infected somehow.

Fredk, think axiom made some minor changes to the appearance and features of the message boards which has aparently resulted in some errors.

They've upgraded to the latest version of UBB. Wouldn't surprise me if they've been playing with the code and options all weekend. As a side note, I was only unable to log in for a few hours on Saturday, while the actual upgrade took place.

This information completely gleaned from the version number at the bottom of every forum page...

I still can't use IE8 from home, I have tried releasing/renewing my IP address, allowing the Axiom address full access to my PC turning off my AV/Firewall, nothing works. I guess I will just keep using Safari.

I just noticed the Shout Box isn't working.

I had something really profound to say, but since it's 60 seconds later, it's irrelevant so never mind.

I'm liking some of the changes, though.

For instance, when you receive an email notification of a PM, it now tells you who it's from.

It's like "Caller ID" for PMs, and when it's Adrian, I know I don't have to answer it! grin

Another glitch for me is that whenever I see there are new replies to an already active thread and click that thread it used to automatically go the newest reply, now it always goes to the first post in that thread which is somewhat aggravating because I either need to read through the thread or count the new replies from the bottom to the top to find the first new reply.

That's odd. I haven't had that issue.

I wonder if they can change the width of the page. The RSS feed really makes the post section feel constricted.

Likewise. Is anyone else getting borders around the link buttons in FF?

I don't have those borders in Safari 5.

FF 3.6.4? I guess you haven't updated this week, there's a 3.6.6 now. (Runs Flash and other plug-ins as a separate process so if a plug-in crashes the browser doesn't. The .6 release makes it so Firefox doesn't mistakenly believe that Farmville has stopped responding and kill it's Flash process.)

I do have the borders around images which are links.

Someone needs to add a

a img {border: none;}

line to the CCS. Firefox's default interpretation of HTML includes borders around linking images.

Thanks Chris - at 3.6.6 now. Actually it was already downloaded and was patiently waiting for me to restart FF to apply the update.

Cheers,

I am sad without the shout box.

Also, there was a working, easy to use search function for a little while, but it appears to have reverted to the old one.

What do you find if you search for "working shoutbox"?

Still taking me back to page 1 every time I hit the Go button. More of an annoyance today as "The Water Cooler" had 4 pages for me to catch up on and it takes a few clicks to skip to page four with the drop down list as "4" is not shown, 1 2 3... 467 468.

I should probably check my options page though before I call it a glitch. Maybe something got changed there.

I had a problem from my home computer (but not at work). When I logged in with the option "remember me", it would do some weird stuff and I would always end up after a few clicks as "not logged in". Cleared cookings. Rebooted. Tried Firefox... same thing. I finally decided to leave the box unchecked and... voila! Definitely something strange as it does not do that at work (Windows XP).

Other than adding the French forums, are there any other differences in the 'Forums' and 'General Discussions' links?

Seems to me like one of the links could be eliminated because the French forum can be hidden anyway.

Message board software is organized like that--and to migrate everything out of it is likely a very, very unpleasant task.

I see the CSS is fixed so there are no borders around the images in the reply and navigation buttons, and the thumping-speaker unread posts icon is back.

But shouldn't those icons have white dustcaps now? I know it doesn't affect the quality of the posts, but...

I can't get the page back to the darker colors. I hate the white and blue color scheme, it to damn bright.

I'm rockin' the dark scheme no problems.

I noticed today when surfing axiom on my iphone that the top light blue bar is off to the left not even on top of the forums...

Has that dark blue band with 'Products', 'Reviews', 'Forums' etc., been around long? For some reason it seems new to me.

Blue band I think has been there for a while, but they changed the way it looks.

I just noticed that if you click on any of the items in the blue band, except Forums, that it displays what the blue bar used to look like.

Same here. It changed when I altered something else in my preferences last week.
