Hey all,
I'm loving my m22's that I've had for nearly a month now. Just one question. It seems that sometimes when I'm watching a movie (in this case it was Band of Brothers), when men are shouting, there seems to be some slight distortion in their voice. It's VERY subtle, but enough that it bothered me just a little. I've also noticed it a few times on music when a male vocalist is really singing loud. I was wondering if this might be a defect in the speakers or just the recording. Thanks for any input. -J

jtmccoy,
it might be that you need to tighten the screws down on the woofers of the speakers. You'll need a set of allen wrenches should do the trick. That would be a good thing to try first.

Do you have anything on top of your speakers? At one point, I allowed my wife to put a couple small decorative items on top of my M22s. During certain passages of music, I sometimes heard an annoying vibration sound. I removed the decorations and the problem was solved.

Tsk, tsk..that's what you get for allowing decorations to get in the way of electronics
Merely jesting of course.

A question about the "tightening the screws" tip. I did that on my M2's. What I noticed was some of them did have some room left to turn, but, there were a couple that turned with little to no resistance.
I didn't strip them. Its like they were already that way? Is this normal?
