does anyone know if there will be a v1 or v2 driver/crossover upgrade to a v3 package? Thought maybe it would be on the site.

There was going to be; haven't heard much about it recently. It's relatively expensive, and not an easy upgrade to do. I'd advise contacting Axiom for more info.

It may make more dollar sense to sell your V1's or 2's and buy new V3's unless you have a custom finish you might not want to part with....something to consider.

There was quite a lengthy forum discussion on this topic already in the Version 3 thread of the "What's new at Axiom" subforum.

If I were you, I'd CALL Axiom rather than just "wait".

Does anyone have any specs or pictures of the V3 cross-overs for the M3V3?

They're probably not as pretty as you'd like them to be.

I would suspect 2X6 there would be little to no changes. According to the specs, the crossover point is the same and I believe it still uses the mechanical roll-off approach. If there have been such changes to a full crossover they have not been stated. According to Axioms stance on crossover components you shouldn't expect any enhancements to the build quality in the V3 crossovers either.

There was a picture of the M80 v3 crossover over at the blu-ray axiom speakers thread but I can't seem to find it anymore. IIRC the layout of the components looked different from previous versions but can't tell much else from just looking at a picture.

Now, now Wheelz, wasn't Che Guevara a brutal murderer and terrorist?

If you're uneducated and ill informed, yes.

Look, if you want to try to discredit someone, try using facts that rely on critical thinking and knowledge. Rather than playing a childish game; it does nothing for your cause.

Now go do some serious research and learn, rather than being an agent of propaganda.

I don't know anything about penguins, but I can find a silly picture online that makes them look terrible too. Only difference is that I know they aren't Nazis and didn't take part in a Nuremburg rally.....

Is it an "upgrade"?

I'm planning on heading through the Dwight area again next summer, on my way to Haliburton.
If we get that chance, i will try to setup a short listening session of v2 vs. v3 if the Axiom folk will tolerate me for one more hour.

Unless anyone in the Peg area has the new v3 M60s and we can do an A/B blind test at my place...
Any takers?

Listen Wheelz, Che Guevara murdered people.

Now, sure, he was killed and never reached his potential. Stalin and Mao murdered by the scores of millions, and Che was a mere wannabe in comparison. However, as James Dean appeals to romantics who swoon at the movies he never made because of his untimely death, so do aspiring apparatchiks and ignorant, unwashed college drop outs all over the world swoon at Che's work yet undone ... populations of middle class and aspiring bourgeoise clods who still live though their lives are not as meaningful to the smelly self appointed elites as would have been their deaths at the hand of a young, beret wearing mass murderer. Oh the loss.

Yeah.

But hey, the humanity.

Anybody else see the show Nazi Hunters? Stories told of group(s) of Jewish special agents/commandos tracking down, capturing (for trial) and in some cases killing prevalent Nazi war criminals. The level of detail, skill and balls involved in those missions. Fascinating stuff.

What are you talking about? He freed Cuba from the bondage of Batista, a ruthless dictator.

Comparing Ernesto to Stalin? Wow, this is where I digress because my aforementioned statement about being ill informed has come to fruition. It's a fruitless venture having a discussion with you, and I'm not going to clog up this thread pointing out your falsehoods, even though it's easy and I enjoy it.

I have friends on here that wouldn't like me to continue tossing meat under the bridge for you to feed on.

Chow.

Thanks House. I found it on YouTube and I'll definitely watch it.

Not sure if 2x would agree with revolving and killing Nazis (ruthless dictators) if he stays true to form.

The last one I seen was on Herbet Cukurs. So far it is my favorite of them all.

Description: Twenty years later, Cukurs is living quietly in Sao Paolo, Brazil. That is, until the Nazi-hunting unit of the Israeli secret service tracks him down. Kicking off one of the most daring missions in its history, Mossad agents decide to execute Cukurs without a public trial, and send a message to Nazi war criminals the world over to fear for their lives.

Posing as a successful Austrian businessman and former Nazi lieutenant named 'Anton Kuenzle', an undercover Mossad spy makes contact with Cukurs and the master plan begins to unfold. Impressed by Kuenzle's apparent wealth and success, Cukurs readily admits he's a war criminal. But earning his trust and luring him out of the country prove more challenging. Can the cunning spy win over the greedy and paranoid Cukurs? And can he kill Cukurs before Cukurs sees through his disguise?

Clearly, Wheelz, I think even you may know better. My point is that I denounce all mass murderers, genocidal dictators and their true believer hench men like Che and clueless wannabes as well. You can pick and choose from among National Socialist mass murderers, Soviet socialist mass murderers, Maoist socialist mass murderers, and all the moral imbecile elitists who think their precious revolutions justify the taking of innocent lives. You should really make an effort at critical thought and contemplate your morally impaired belief system.

I mean ... if you're up to it.

Any shows involving the Mossad are always interesting. Same goes for shows that revolve around Special Air Service (SAS) missions. Those guys are badass as well. If the Mossad or SAS are after you, your bound to have a bad day. eek
