I use the automatic reorder for everything where it is offered. But I set my reorder time to 6 months. Then I just manually reorder when I need more, or cancel after I've had enough. That way it keeps surprise shipments from happening, but I still get the nice discount.
I’ll look into that. Don’t they send an email saying that your automatic reorder shipped or are you talking about just having it ship when you don’t really need it? So far I haven’t had one ship yet only got a couple emails saying the my credit card I’m using is about to expire and that I should update it.

They do send you an email before they ship the next one. I've been saved by that a couple times. And there's no reason you can't cancel right away.

Maybe I was just slow to react, but I seem to recall getting an e-mail, and then going to my account only to find the order being processed and unable to be changed.
The other thing is that, even if you are a Prime member, subsequent orders ship ground or USPS. To counter the slow shipping rate they'll bill you and send them a few days earlier so they arrive on the date. If you ask to be sent a refill right away, it'll ship 2nd day for free for Prime members. Not that is really makes a difference, as it will arrive on approximately the same day. But it's the principle.

I always knew "those things" had some sort of value. Great re-purposing!

I think she must have played her "Vag of holding" card.
(Yes, that was a D&D reference…)
