Inside an M60 V2 speaker?

Can somebody tell me what the inside of the M60v2 speaker looks like and what the best method would be to retrieve a small toy my son tossed in through one of the rear ports?
I'm re-building my home theater this weekend (new TV, components, speakers, etc.) and noticed something rattling in my right speaker when I was moving it. I'm pretty sure its a toy that he placed in one of the rear ports - most likely the bottom port on the back.
Any thoughts? Is it safe to leave in there or would I experience some possible resonance? Should I remove one of the drivers? If so, which one? I'm certain that the M60 has multiple internal cabinets isolating the mids from the tweeters and bottom woofers.
Help!

I'd remove the lower woofer and have a look. I'm not sure of the exact location of the crossover, but I'd imagine the toy could possibly damage it, esp if it's metallic.
Btw, I believe the mids have their own chambres(cones).

Yeah, I think Adrian's right on all counts.
Can't wait to make that sort of discovery on my speakers... my son's not figured out the ramifications of both being able to remove the grills and the fact there's holes in them.

My niece put a ball inside the port of one of my speakers. I could get my hand inside, and grab the ball, but couldn't remove my hand while grasping it. She saw the "game" I was playing and offered to remove the ball for me. Her little hand worked fine.
Then I told my brother to get his kids out of my place until they were teenagers.

Took Adrian's advice and removed the bottom woofer. It appears that either a miniture Bert or Ernie (I can't remember who's who) had decided to call my speaker home It isn't metallic and was simply rattling around on the bottom of the speaker so I don't think any damage has been done. BTW - I think the crossover is up higher in the speaker - it definitely isn't near the bottom third behind the woofers. Thanks!

Bert has the pointy head, while Ernie's is round.
