I didn't; I don't like being told what to do by The Man.

I'm interested, but if it's as gory as, say, CSI, I don't think I want to watch it.

This evening I had to "babysit" five boys aged 9 to 14. We watched The Goonies. It must be one of the best movies ever for this age group.

Ha ha, great movie!

On a side note, the pirate ship seen at the very end of the movie is a 1/3 scale replica of a galleon that you can take on a tour of Big Bear Lake in California. Swashbuckling is frowned upon.

Tourists prefer their safety.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

It was okay. Visually stunning, especially in certain scenes, but the story didn't blow me away. The dialog was pretty bland. I'll have to watch it again when I can really blast it, though. Maybe it's better louder. smile

I've also been getting caught up on Friday Night Lights. Sad that it's the final season, but five seasons is pretty decent, and I'd rather they went out strong.

After watching “Iron Man 2” I realized I hadn’t really been using my system to anywhere near it’s full potential in a long time watching anime and tv shows on Hulu so I have started tonight throwing in some “real” stuff.

First up was Within Temptation “Black Symphony“:

Only I’m seeing/hearing the Blu-ray. . . smile.

Next up was:

Then I put in a Mannheim Steamroller 5.1 DVD sampler with an awesome video of an ancient Greek party with a belly dancer who’s cup size I’m sure didn’t exist back then at that level of body fat. wink

Still have about 3/4 a bottle of Patron Tequila Gran Platinum, and a whole buttload of Bud Ice (5.5%, best I could find) left and going strong.

Did I mention I get a stupid amount of time of around the holidays. wink

I wish I had a scanner so I could post the picture of me at a toga party going as “D-Day.”

“That’s my other dog imitation.” Oops! Wrong movie. Well at least Donald Sutherland was still in it.

BTW Sean you are more than welcome to come over right now.

It’s the house with the loud noise coming from it. wink
