Ok, this is driving me nuts, is anybody else having this issue? Not sure if this is an IE8 thing or what, but lately I've noticed that when I am replying to a post, or starting a new post, once I get about 2 paragraphs typed, the text starts bouncing up and I can't see what I'm typing. If I scroll down and start typing my sentence again, it bounces up to the above paragraph. Seems to be a problem with this version of UBB not sure?
To get around it I've had to copy/paste my post up to this point into notepad and finish my thoughts, then recopy into a new post. Oh crap there it goes again, arggg.

Bounce as in, if you have more text than can be displayed in the little box it bounces up and down as you type, but will not stay at the bottom of the message?
Edit. OK, gonna see if I have the same problem here using IE7. Using it illegally I might add as corporate wants us to stay on 6.9 for 'compatibility' reasons.
Almost there.
Just a few more lines.
OK, no issue here.

Yes Fred, it seems once the box fills up with text it does not scroll up as you type, however, it bounces up/down and I can't see what the heck I'm typing. It happens on my home Vista/IE8 laptop, as well at work on XP SP3/IE8.

Randy, I've had the same problem before...but...if you switch to the full reply screen, you can use the up/down arrows on the top right to enlarge your post window.

Yeah, Randy; I've had that problem(and occasionally a lag in key input)on the Axiom forum. It occurs on no other internet site(including the typing of messages), so I have to conclude that it's a glitch in UBB or whatever here.

I've never had a problem. I'm using Firefox. Ha, just realized I am using firefox (also verboten) at work for most things, though I do have IE7 installed (some sites do not like firefox).

Randy, I've had the same problem before...but...if you switch to the full reply screen, you can use the up/down arrows on the top right to enlarge your post window. This has been my only solution too. Just click the down arrow to the right of the TT "Adjust Font Size" Icon. The text area will expand and, as loong as you keep expanding the area to the point where text is always visible, you won't bounce.
