V for Vendetta -

- "Remember, remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should never be forgot"

- "Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you, and you may call me V."

- "The building is a symbol. As is the act of destroying it. Alone a symbol is meaningless. But with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world."

- "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. There is an idea, Mr. Creedy - and ideas are bulletproof."

- "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

And -

"What the f*#k is the internet?" - Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

"I drink your milkshake" - There will be Blood

Anything from Anchorman, but this exchange and quote (in red) is hilarious -

"Ed Harken: A lot of you have been hearing the affiliates complaining about a lack of diversity on the news team.
Champ Kind: What in the hell’s diversity?
Ron Burgundy: Well, I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old, wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.
Ed Harken: Ron, I would be surprised if the affiliates were concerned about the lack of an old, old wooden ship, but nice try."

That's really cool, Mike. I've never tried to memorize it, and although I would like to, it would most definitely be quite a chore.

Kudos to him, for sure!

Plus a bunch more quotes from Casablanca. "Here's looking at you kid," "Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine," "Major Strasser has been shot. Round up the usual suspects."

"Deserve's got nothing to do with it," from Unforgiven is pretty great. I'm sure there were others from it I'm not thinking of at the moment.

I liked Real Genius!

Bull Durham is undoubtedly the movie I quote most often.

Lots of good material in the Lethal Weapon and Die Hard series, too.

The Thing from Another World (original) Dr. Carrington's betrayal of his fellow humans' attempt to destroy the thing:

I'm your friend. I have no weapons.
I'm your friend.

You're wiser than I. You must understand
what I'm trying to tell you.

Don't go farther. They'll kill you.
They think you'll harm us.

But I want to know you,
to help you. Believe that.

You're wiser than anything on earth.

Use that intelligence. Look
and know what I'm telling you.

I'm not your enemy.
I'm a scientist who's trying...

Wedding crashers has some great ones. Among my all time favorite comedies....

Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels.

Kindly Leave!

You motorboatin son of a bitch!

Yeah, it could have been the soft mattress. Or the midnight rape. Or the nude gay art show that took place in my room. One of those probably added to the lack of sleep.

You shut your mouth when you're talking to me!

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee."

"You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fu**ed up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you?"

The whole thing:
Henry Hill: You're a pistol, you're really funny. You're really funny.
Tommy DeVito: What do you mean I'm funny?
Henry Hill: It's funny, you know. It's a good story, it's funny, you're a funny guy.
[laughs]
Tommy DeVito: What do you mean, you mean the way I talk? What?
Henry Hill: It's just, you know. You're just funny, it's... funny, the way you tell the story and everything.
Tommy DeVito: [it becomes quiet] Funny how? What's funny about it?
Anthony Stabile: Tommy no, You got it all wrong.
Tommy DeVito: Oh, oh, Anthony. He's a big boy, he knows what he said. What did ya say? Funny how?
Henry Hill: Jus...
Tommy DeVito: What?
Henry Hill: Just... ya know... you're funny.
Tommy DeVito: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little fu**ed up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fu**in' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
Henry Hill: Just... you know, how you tell the story, what?
Tommy DeVito: No, no, I don't know, you said it. How do I know? You said I'm funny. How the fu** am I funny, what the fu** is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what's funny!
Henry Hill: [long pause] Get the fu** out of here, Tommy!
Tommy DeVito: [everyone laughs] Ya motherfu**er! I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering pri*k ya. Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning.
