It's that the electoral debate in Quebec was rescheduled for a Montreal Canadians hockey game, and no other country would do the same (not that the game was already scheduled, and they chose a different day for the debate). Yep, the U.S. might do it for baseball or the Super Bowl, but I highly doubt they would for hockey, as it's not as popular.

For those interested, Amy Goodman is hosting a discussion with WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange and Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek. The event will be broadcast live from London July 2 at 11am EDT. Link. Peace.

I don't know if any of you guys know who Cenk Urgur is, but I've been listening to him/TYT pretty much since it's inception. A while ago he was hired by MSNBC, and got his own show as a result. Unfortunately, he's just left MSNBC, but in the video below, he explains why, and the circumstances that impacted his decision. I think a lot of you will find this very interesting. Although most of us understand how the media works, it's still scary to hear firsthand accounts like this (I don't want to say too much and spoil it)... I've always had a tremendous amount of respect for him and the other TYT hosts (in this clip you'll get an idea why). Cenk leaves MSNBC.

Interesting monolog Cam. I didn't think it ever got that blatant.
The internet is a boon to those who look for a wider perspective. I still follow the mainstream media, but always look for other sources and perspectives.
