First is there any way to make the top and bottom grils a little easier to get off. I actually had to use something to pry them up enough to get my fingers under them. Don't want to do that too often. Too much of a risk of damaging the cabinet.
Second question is does removing the mounting allen screw on the back and keeping it out have any effect on the performance of the speaker. I looked inside and the hole goes all the way into the cabinet.

how come you remove the grills? I only remove them when I demo to potential buyers.
Should be OK w/ the screw. That is only used to help w/ mounting brackets.
