I am able to buy a slightly used Paradigm cc690 for around $1,000 here (new one cost almost $2k here), the VP180 with tax will cost me $1,415.
Could the Paradigm blend nicely with my M60v2?
Is the cc690v5 comparable with VP180?

Could the Paradigm blend nicely with my M60v2? Since you're the one that has them, you should tell us

why wouldn't you buy the VP180 to begin with; will it cost more to buy and get to you in relation to the paradigm cost?
i would dare to gather that (being made by axiom) the VP180 is a closer match to the M60 than the digm simply because both the 60 & 180 are designed by the same company. folks here at axiom have purchased a 180 to go with their 60's and love it.
please understand, this is not a knock at paradigm, they are a fine speaker and i do own a pair of them; i also own 14 axiom speakers too!
just curious as to why you want to mix-match the speakers and hey, for all i know, their center might just sound great with the 60's!
no matter what you do, please keep us posted.

I would get a speaker with a 5yr warranty. Can't tell you if it would be similar sounding.

Hi mpyw, I don't know how well the Paradigm will integrate with the Axiom M60 but I can tell you that the VP180 is an excellent match with the Axiom M60. I did an installation with this configuration and the customer is a very happy and totally satisfied Axiom owner! I don't see how a Paradigm speaker could be a better match to an Axiom speaker ???

I think a Paradigm center would blend very nicely as Axiom and Paradigm have a similar sound. I was this <> close to buying a 690 center to go with my M80s but that extra few hundred I would have to spend kept me from doing so and knowing for certain how they would sound together.
