Hmm. Seems that burn in is completely necessary from a comfy chair tasty beverage sort of perspective. Sounds like it's my ears that need burning more than drivers. The m22/epxxx would be another option for me but my life-hostage (wife) is luke warm on the idea of a large sub doubling as an end table. She actually favors the towers. I know Alan has posted several times about the m22/sub being very musical. Still an option. I wish I could demo them but, in a rather backwards way I'll be shipping these speakers to where I live in China presently. Most Canadians/Americans do it the other way around. Funnier still... My family's cottage is in Dorset, about 20 min from the Axiom factory in Dwight. The perils of geography...
