We just watched the B-D of Unbroken. Makes me feel like a pitiful human being when I'm putting on a jacket to step out with the dog because the air is a bit chilly.
Good movie. I put it on my list.

Good movie. I watched the movie after reading the book. The movie is pathetically inadequate in telling his life story. An amazing man.

The only reasonable argument for owning a gun is to protect yourself from the police.

Vikings. Overall, I'm finding the show lackluster, but I do have to hand it to the main actor. He has great faces and really owns the role. I think it has potential to grow into itself, but it's not there yet (I'm most of the way through the second season).
Oh, and watched The Avengers: Age of Ultron earlier today. It's good, has enough great moments to carry it, but it was disappointing how much of it felt off or unwieldy. Considering how much he had to juggle, it came off really well, but it's always better when you don't have to justify it like that. I didn't like the opening of the first Avengers, either, but this one was worse. Trying too hard to start out lively, and the CG shots of the characters performing their impossible feats looked astoundingly bad. The same kind of unnatural movement that makes some of the Legolas shots in LotR hard to stomach. But then there are the ultra-destructive Hulk scenes to wash the taste out of your mouth.

I found this one a bit hard to get into however as a person who appreciates the history of the time, it really emulates a realistic version of events between the vikings and other cultures around them as they raided while other nations 'built' more to constructed civilization. e.g. in the sense of innovation regarding engines of war the vikings took alot of losses against thing like superior constructed castle defenses and walls

For some reason we won't get Age of Ultron until the 22nd... I'm hoping to watch something, anything, tonight. At least I am getting some game time in our screen room.

I'm finally watching NTSF: SD: SUV since it's currently on Hulu. A lot of great stuff, and comedic actors from everywhere doing guest roles.

What!!!???? Vikings is way up on my top favorite series list. I love this show, find it thoughtfully written, good sound, good acting, super-hot chicks... What else could you possibly want from a TV series? But I also feel the same about Black Sails. So you probably stay away from that one....

My sister has me watching another Korean drama. The Girl Who Sees Smells. It's pretty good. As you can guess from the title, the main character can see smells. She gets in an accident, which causes one of her eyes to change color and gives her this ability. Thankfully, there's a lot more to the story, with other characters having their own oddities. It's turning out to be really well-plotted, so I'm excited to see how it concludes. A friend sent me the link to this video. I understand their initial reactions, but I want to urge them to continue watching the series they were exposed to, because they were all winners. Ha ha. Americans Watch K-Dramas For The First Time

This is true: I showed my wife the clip so she could see the movie they were making fun of. I thought she might like it...
She's already seen it.
