Yes! Shocked! Nonplussed! Stunned! Offended, even! How did you get a free subscription to TIME, when I have to pay through the nose for mine. OUTRAGEOUS!

Great, entertaining post, Craig. It's nice to know about the regulars here. Thanks.

Hmm...I bought something online and they offered a 6 month subscription for free. Pretty good idea on their part. I'm not sure I'll want to go without it once the six months are up.

Craig, that was an excellent fit of self-illumination. Superb Axiomblog!

Now I feel like I know you personally. As a matter of fact, I now feel qualified to suggest you get yourself into the shop soon and have them take a look a your clearly malfunctioning "off" button; it appears to be stuck.

Now, get yourself out of escrow and bundle up mister; you'll get a chill!!!!

The damn thing is addicting. I got started reading it 34 years ago in Viet Nam. been reading it ever since.

Get this! Sometime in the 1940's my father gave my mother a lifetime subscription to Reader's Digest. I have no idea what he paid, but probably a nice dollar by 1940's standards. Well my mother is now 91, and the Reader's Digest still arrives every month. Now THAT'S a free subscription. I don't think they offer lifetime subscriptions anymore.

Superb post spiff.
Another contender for best post of the year right next to the concise articulations of JohnK.

If you mention something about a "fictitious president" we'll be sure to boo you.

Craig, I'm sorely disappointed to see the music genre that you didn't include in your list.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
