Thinking about signing up for spotify or Mog, primarily for use with iPhone. Does anyone use either one of these services or reccomend one over the other?

I've only tried the free version of both. For free I'd pick Spotify. I'd consider paying them money but their Android app is god awful. I have not tried the MOG app out so I can't comment there. Sorry, I don't think I was much help there.

I might give them both a try and decide what seems better

If you're thinking about paying for a streaming service (the pay ones let you pick your own tracks, rather than function "radio" style), don't rule out Rhapsody. It has mobile clients, a PC client (or a website), plus many receivers and other audio devices include support. http://www.rhapsody.com/I've been a member for almost 8 years.

But still not available in Canada as far as I know, right?
As I've said in other posts elsewhere, I am using Slacker for now and like it well enough, but content is very restricted in Canada. I expect it would be much better in US.

Good info, thanks Peter. In Canada we are limited to Slacker and Rdio as our only subscription choices, that I can find anyway.

Speaking US versions but Spotify has a pretty impressive library of music. I haven't spent as much time on MOG so I can't say if it compares.
Personally I'm happy buying music occasionally from eMusic and have a Pandora One subscription.
