HAA certification is for audio calibration, and THX, is, well, THX ![]() I checked out a couple of his posts, and they're discussions regarding speaker placement etc. I find it odd that most calibrators won't calibrate 3d. Maybe it's because it's a relatively new technology? Good luck, Cat. Hopefully he knows his stuff and you're happy.

His company provides services for building in-home theaters, which includes TV/projector calibrations. THX includes both audio and video presentations. Tbe Panasonic GT50 and VT50 are both THX certified TV's. This isn't because of the sound. From reading about the 2 (isf and THX), they sound very similar.
I did get a call early evening yesterday for a delivery of the TV today between 9 and 11 am. Edited by CatBrat (05/24/12 07:25 AM)

They finally showed up at 11:15. 15 minutes after the 2 hour window. It's setup on the old TV stand and I've checked it for dead pixels. There weren't any. Tonight, I plan on putting the 65VT50 on one of the THX modes and watching the movie, "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest".

But... I have no use for a boat. I don't like water, fishing, skiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, floating, scuba diving nor snorkeling.
