So my speakers have been arriving over the last month, the QS8's were the first to arrive and have been sitting in the corner for the better part of the month. Today, i figured I would plug in the receiver and test each one of the speakers. When I unwrapped the QS8's, I noticed that one of them has a dented tweeter dome. My questions are: 1) Will this affect the sound? 2) Can I fix this myself, if so what would you suggest? 3) Should I send it back to Axiom? Here are two pictures:

just call or send an email to Axiom, they'll send you a new one.

when you got the new tweeter, take out the old titanium dome and sell it; it's worth it's weight in...titanium.

So I just talked to Brent from Axiom, he said they would send out a replacement tweeter right away. I just want to commend Axiom on the excellent service I have received so far. Things will go wrong, that's a given, how its handled when it goes wrong is what sets one company apart from another.

Replacing the tweeter is quite easy, as i'm sure Brent explained to you over the phone... But for others that may be asking the same question.....

i had a tweeter with the same wound, not sure how it happened but i took it apart and smoothed out the titanium dome and put it back together. It sounds just fine. True story
