Anybody here listened to these speakers yet? Ive seen pretty good reviews of these and they look esoteric. How would they compare to m80s

Have never heard the m80's, but the MMG are my favorite speaker by far in the < $600 range. I have listened to their mg12's which are the same price as the m80's, i wasnt that impressed, in the $1800 range, you can get the mg 1.6's. UMPH!!!!
of course, that is my non scientific opinion =)

It's been a while since I've listened to the Maggies. I auditioned the 1.6's. Really beautiful sounding speakers. The depth of the stage is deep since they fire sound both front and back. You should try posting Saturn. If I remember correctly, he's got a pair of MG12's.

You'll need some real power to drive Maggies to their potential. Really interesting sounding speakers.
