Do they use stronger hops in Kangaroo Beer? if i remember right, it seemed like the typical Pride of Ringwood beer. maybe a little more water/less hop in the finish than Fosters. My last memory of Kangaroo was seeing a boatload of empties on top of the tallest building in town (4 stories) and wondering, "Wonder what the worker guys are gonna think when they this mess?"

Ah, keep forgetting to put this in:
Blue Moon, Grand Cru. I like Blue Moon for a day to day drinker (yes, I know it's from Coors...), so I thought I'd see what they would label Grand Cru. Basically, it's just like Blue Moon--drinkable, but nothing special. Had some nice notes, but I'm glad I didn't pay that much for it. You guys ruined Blue Moon for me: http://www.bluemoonlv.com/

Wow, I just realized I can't spell "Erdinger" correctly! Shame on me! Both of those selections sound very good Tom. I'll add them to my "try and get these when travelling in the US" list!

Ditto to that. Another fine oatmeal product is the Highland Oatmeal Porter that I got a while back at my local shop. I was excited to see it on draft at a local bar last month, but bummed out when I found it had sold out before I got there. Peter, if you ever go to Asheville, NC to check out that super beer store you mentioned a while back, you can tour the brewery, hint hint.
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

For those Linenkugel fans, try the 1888 Bach beer, yep same recipe as the original Bach from them, good stuff.
