Infiniti G37 convertible. Just squeaks in under the price limit. Would you throw in a few extra thou for options?

Congrats on the new amp toy.

By the time I add on the options I want with the Infinity M Hybrid, the price comes to a little over $68,000.

Takes forever to set receivers up. Here it is 7:00pm and haven't even run MCACC yet.

Modified the shelf by shortening the plastic vertical supports so it'll hold more shelves. Then had to find a usable USB stick, download the firmware files and update. Now the oven is making too much noise cooking salmon. Maybe by 8:00 I'll have MCACC run.

Here's pictures of what's behind the wall where the TV is. My cheap plastic shelves. Plenty sturdy for what I need.

FRONT SIDE ACCESS.

BACK SIDE ACCESS.

While i agree you have a lot of access... i don't think that would fit well for someone who's shelving is visible... Would be awkward explaining to someone why a 10k$ amp is sitting on a 5$ shelving unit...... i guess one could aways just use the "i ran out of cash" line...

Well, I didn't find audio nirvana like I was hoping for. The 2 amps, after running their audio software, each have a distinctive sound all their own. The Denon may actually sound marginally better. Unfortunately, no night and day difference. Both play too bright for my ears at upper volume levels, around the 80-90 db range. Turning MCACC off didn't sound bad at all, except there was too much bass.

I moved the upper speakers, over the Tv to a straight ahead position, so the teeters are no longer pointing to the seating area with little change in results.

System actually sounded the best with the smaller TV, with the on walls mounted above the bookshelfs. I'm not going back there, so will have to keep tweaking.

Pioneer, I set mains to small with cross over at 80.

A couple of things that have helped a bit, is turning the lower mains upside down so the tweeters are further from the ears, and change Pioneer's X-curve to -1 db, to curve off the high end.

So the only tweeters that are fairly close to the ears are the lower center and the surrounds. The tweeter dispersion on the rest is enough that they are audible.

Sure would be nice to have a room big enough and the right size for a good pair of floor standers. Right now, it would difficult to add a pair of M50. Have to raise TV and speakers 5 inches. Don't know if replacing the 2 lower M22 with M50 would help or not.

Guess I could try it without raising stuff, then send them back if I don't get much improvement.
