I am going to start rearranging my listening room in preparation for the arrival of all my goodies, but I am not clear on the placement of the QS8s.

I know that on a regular setup per the Dolby Labs recommendations, the surrounds should be 1-2 behind you and 2 feet or so above ear level on the side walls.

But, with the dipolar arrangment of the QS8s I was wondering if the speaker should be positioned level with the listening position and 2 or more feet above.

I ask this since with the indirect design of the QS8s this kind of placement would appear to diffuse the sound all around the user.
