In dallas for our annual dave matthews fix! Show is tonight. I bought my parents tickets too. They have tried to see dave twice now but ended up sick one year and out of town the other. My mom almost wasn't going to make it this trip either cuz her rheumatoid arthritis was acting up. She got her treatment early and is feeling much better.
We are all Looking forward to the show!

Yes, for some reason or another they haven't played Vancouver for years. The company that designs Carter Beauford's snare drums are located in Ladner, British Columbia. I am not interested in making a trip to the Gorge to see Dave Mathews Band. Friends of mine went last year and it was a gong show.

Well, we are off to Vancouver to see Fleetwood Mac. Should be a good show, the ferry is always a pain, especially on a long weekend.

Not only is the ferry a PITA & costly, the expense of going to see a big act in Vancouver is so prohibitive now from VR Island, that I think that I'm done with it. I've seen Santana & Clapton (twice) over there in the past decade & it turns out being a $500 to $1000 adventure.
Since my daughter lives in Victoria with a complimentary B&B, I wish more acts would show up there, but unfortunately their venue is just too small to make a buck.
Concerts on DVD/BD on a good Axiom HT system is the way to go for us now...
