For those of you (like me) who forgot we lost an hour last night, we unfortunately did. My girlfriend told me four times or so in the last few days but I still forgot until she told me again this morning.

I think it's time daylight savings time was killed off. There's really no point anymore.
Of course, I only say this in the spring. I love getting that extra hour in the fall.

Yeah...I would imagine that it might be nice for the farmers to have more daylight. But what percentage of the population do they really account for anyway?

The part that gets government subsidies for throwing away their product.
Ooh, did I just get political?
However, they are one of the most important parts of the economy. We'd probably all be dead without them.

We'd have already outsourced our farming if we didn't already pay field workers less than minimum wage...

I guess what really gets me about daylight savings is that I always forget. Always. I mean heck my computer knows, my cell phone knows, my mother knows, my girlfriend clearly knows. My VCR even knows, my cable company tells it. All the bartenders in the world know in the spring, and conveniently forget in the fall. I would seriously have thought all my clocks had gone haywire for a few hours before I realized what the deal was. Alas, looks like it's just me with the problem then.

It could be worse. You could habitually forget to "stow" Mr. Willy after using a urinal...

Well.
Yes.
That would be worse.

i dont care if its for the farmers or whoever.. the small irritation of re-setting a few of my clocks is well worth the extra hour of sunlight in the afternoon.. i hate the fall when i get off work at 5pm, and its already dark. come june/july, there will still be sunlight at 9pm.. AWESOME..
