I'd be pretty surprised if that guy had use of an anechoic chamber.
I've always rather enjoyed how Ian eschews the D'Appolito array for vertical speakers. I think he knows something.

The Quartet speakers pictured run $2995 a pair. They may or may not have a "champaign(sic, even in Illinois)sound" as the maker claims, but that ain't a "beer price" in my view.

Yeah - the 'champaign taste" would be more of cow manure and pig farms,depending on wind direction. I can get a pair of M100s for the price of those speakers and still have plenty of money left over to splurge on a great dinner. Is the Axiom speaker shape a patented design?

The Van L. config also similar to the Ascend. Would love to hear all 3.
