With all the new products coming out, just curious of what you guys plan on upgrading for the coming year, I'm prob looking for a couple of subs and perhaps the a new denon avr x-5000 (replacing the avr 4520)

Nothing. My money has been consumed by my recent media server and HTPC purchase. 2014 will be a "little to no" upgrade year for my theater. So much has been done this year that it will be good to move on to other projects.

I am hoping Santa brings me a EP500 for Christmas. Also a Pro upgrade to my M80s would be nice.

I haven't replaced anything major in about 6 years, so I'm due for a complete overhaul, which means I can't bear to even think about it.

I need to get a display of some kind to tide me over until projector technology is where I want it to be. My 60" SXRD has color problems and is out of warranty. I figure I'll get a 65-70" to feel like I'm getting an upgrade, but not top-of-the-line, by any means. I'll probably get it from Costco.

I'd like to build a new PC next year. We'll see if I can swing it. Otherwise, I'll just upgrade components in what I have.

Xbox One and PS4 are both possibilities, but I'd like to see how they turn out. I'll use one to replace my PS3 as my Blu-ray player, but I may end up with both if there are good reasons to own both.

Of course I'll set aside some cash for Axiom upgrades.

Room treatments. And a nice calibrated microphone for analyzing my room with REW.

Oh, I need new seating. I'm still not sure if I'll end up with two rows or not. I'd like to, but with the ceilings being so low, I'm not sure it's an option.

I want a new receiver, but I'm hoping I can hold out until the 4K Blu-ray standard is finalized. I imagine I'll be too impatient for that, though.

Besides all that, I'll be spending a lot of my money enhancing my basement. I need another job or two.

I just want to finish the renovations in my HT room. It's functional and I have no desire to upgrade audio/sound as I am satisfied but I still have a bar behind my raised couch that is bare wood.

Mark will be along shortly to twist the term "bare wood".

Probably nothing for me, But since it's a wish list, I'd probably add an EP500 as a companion to my EP350 in my living room setup. Getting tired of my bottom 2 speakers still sitting on a pile of books, so need to order another wall bracket and get them mounted.

Selling my Denon 3312ci today. I really like my Pioneer SC-65 receiver. But would love a 3 channel ADA-1250 amp.

Might upgrade my in-cabinet VP160 6 inch drivers and crossover, if/when that option ever becomes available.

Porbably not now .;( Just bought the M80 HG Cherry in April, a Denon x4000 reciever last week, verdic is still out on this or return and go back to a Anthem MRX.
Just spent the 6k I had slated for a HT on a set of drums and a guitar for my daughter so we can spend more qaulity time together for the last few years she will be home.

But, I have 5 years to build the HT room, then it is upgrade-a-nitise.

64" Oled , Anthem MRX 7xx ,Axiom ADA1xxx ,,, then not sure if Axiom bookshelf's or Kreisel bookself's and two EP500's or two SVS Ultra's

Ha! Wish list 2014! What a bunch of shallow, acquisitive whores.

What about world peace, every child has a home and a family, no one goes hungry, cures or vaccines for all of the worst diseases, education for all, the end of physical and emotional abuse of humans and animals, and the execution of everyone in the Tea Party????

And why haven't my M100's arrived yet?

I really want to do something about my sub situation, but I still can't decide if I want to go DIY or buy something.

If I were Tom, now would be a great time to change the avatar in an 'inventive' fashion.

same here... I'm on the wall for the new Denon or the mrx510 with external amp or the mrx710 without external amp, thing is if I go with an external amp option due to space issues I can only go with 1 sub otherwise I can go with 2 subs, Denon have good amp power & can handle 4 ohm loads no problem but I really prefer the ARC over the audessey, (room size W12'6'' x L15'6'' x H7'3'' )
