If you are looking for a stand alone solution you could look into the stands I used last year. All I had to do was cut a hole in the top. I'm still using them under my rear surrounds.

Greg If you're asking me, then the speaker sits on top of the stand. There's a small plate in front and 2 screws in the back to tighten the speaker against the fron plate

If you are serious that is a deal killer. I won't have $500 speakers just sitting on top of a stand waiting to get knocked over.
Oh well back to the old drawing board.

IMO it's no different than placing book shelf speakers on stands. I'm more concerned with my wall mounted Q's than I am about the ones on the stands. If they were out into the room it would be a different story, I would look at securing the stand to the floor. Because of the weight of the speakers and how well they fit on the top of the stands I wouldn't be too concerned about them moving too much. You could replace two of the bolts that secure the woofer with longer ones installed through the top plate if you really felt the need.

I can't find a tv take a position with a huge enough area to keep the VP-150 route. So I may have to develop a wood made box kind of framework that is start on the top side and rear and has about a ten inches size that can keep the VP-150.
