i've read in several posts about breakin time for the speakers (which makes sense)but i forgot to ask when i ordered them ,is this really true and more important should you not lean on these speaker for so many hours first until they are broke in????

this subject has been touched on many times.. if i knew how to do a link, i would, but i dont.. anyway, go look under the STEREO section, and look for the thread 'burn-in'.. also, the ADVICE section, and look for thread 'max volume'.. those should help..

basically, the feeling is that, its not the speakers that need to break-in, its your ears.. if you are not used to listening to music at this new level of clarity, it seems 'bright'.. the speaker itself needs no 'break-in' time.

the threads i mentioned are much more eloquent than me, try and find them..good luck with your new speakers.. i should have mine by the 3rd week of may..

All, right, no more excuses.

To post a link, first find the post you want to link and copy the whole address from the address bar in your browser.

Then, start a new post and paste the link into it to get this, for example:

http://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/showflat.php?Board=HT&Number=39061&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0

Then, all you have to do is put "[ url]" (without the space and quotes) in front of the link, and "[ /url]" (without the space and quotes) after the link, and you'll have this:

http://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/showflat.php?Board=HT&Number=39061&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0

If you want to get fancy and have the link to be plain words, you say [ url=http://your.link.here]This is my link[ /url] (again, without the spaces), and it will look like this:

This is my link.
