I didn't wanna knock your question off the front page, but, Tom, the last post on that thread was almost 5 years ago! Can't you just let some things go? Jeezuz!

You are SO Pacific Northwest! I should have known. You people recycle nose hair clippings for upholstery stuffing.

Nah, belly-button lint is WAY fluffier.

But decidedly cheesier.
And, NO, I did not just stick my finger there.
Um, hang on. I gotta go wash my hands.

Also, FYI, during a trip into the back country of Main, we stopped into the lone gas station for miles and miles. Inside on the counter was a very large jar full of what looked like lint. You know I had to ask, so yes it turned out to be thier collection of all the pocket lint that ended up on the counter from customers.
Not only was that a bit odd, but they pulled out a second, equally large jar that was full to the brim with lint and capped off. I'm talking two huge jars (think pickled egg size jars) of collected pocket lint.
I was pretty much running out of the store after I paid.
In short, the west does not have a monopoly on lint recycling.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
