JohnK and I have already established that, for anyone with any appreciation for quality music reproduction, hell is being locked in a small, reverberant, cement-walled cell with a Bose Wave Radio blaring Muzak.

HEY, my dad loves his $400 dollar bose wave radio.. of course, he really loves tapioca pudding, and he thinks paul harvey is a god..
and he never really thought the whole, pre-sliced bread thing, was ever gonna work.. so he has been wrong, at least a couple of times in his life.

We have the Big Acoustic Wave for the patio... it is ok... but for biz travel I have a Cambridge Soundworks Model 12... of course it has a real subwoofer... it is one kick ass little set up...

Man! You carry your own sound system when you travel? You are an audio junkie.

Craig, as a relative newcomer here you may not be aware of the horrible punishment which Peter referred to and which the Pope has advised me is also one of the torments of purgatory. This thread illustrates an application that I made of it. Incidentally, speaking of cruel punishment, I beg you to be more judicious in deciding whether to use the M-word, even when quoting others. Please understand that many of us react to it in a way similar to that of the Monty Python characters to the Knights Who Say Ni.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
