hy all,
i have the speaker which have the sensitivity of (1W/1m)90dB. and according to (1W/1m) scale, "on 80feet 28dB sound reduce" and my remaining sound level is 62dB. Now i want to add 28dB sound level so what should i do how can i change my transformer taps setting (available setting is 1w,3w and 5w or should i reduce the distance because i have to maintain 90dB at any cost... plz give me the suggestion. sorry for my english thanks advance |

At that distance you need 600w to yield 90db.....
At 5w you need to be 2.25m or less to maintain 90db. Is this a real question? If so you are stuck. In my line of work these tap settings and 90db minimum coincide with fire alarm system specs... I'm guessing yours is a tube amp question though. ![]() |
