It's -19C / -2F out, wind chill is -31 C / -24F, weather site says dangerous winter weather is COMING.

On a positive note, I have paths shovelled out to all the spots in my yard I need to reach, wood pile has been dug out, deck has been cleared, deck chairs are out, charcoal is almost ready for cooking in the Weber and the hot tub should be warm by ~11PM.

I thought this was going to be another thread about Game of Thrones.

I thought Game of Thrones was my Angry Birds app on my tablet.

I thought Game of Thrones was a reality show about toilet seats.

If there were even a small group of people for whom I might be persuaded to use an emoticon, you would be on that list.

Not to rub it in - aww, maybe I will: +12C & brilliant sun with no wind today here on Vancouver Island.

Went for a walk & saw a couple of Rhodo bushes in full bloom & Daffodils, Snow Drops, Crocus, Hellebors & small purple Irises are all in their glory.

My sis-in-law in Ottawa just advised that it is going down ~ -40C there tonight - yikes!!

In the interests of full disclosure, I decided it was too darned cold to use the hot tub after all. Getting in is OK, being in is really nice, but getting out is REALLY cold when the wind picks up.
