I walked in on that video on TV just after it had lifted off--no sound. When I saw it's angle of ascent, I thought I was going to see it crash. Then it went from that steep rake to level in about 5 seconds. I still thought I was going to see it go down. Amazing!

I imagine that the aircraft was very light to be able to do that manoeuver in that manner.

I wonder what the true angle was. The way it was shot made it difficult to tell.... though, as you pointed out, it WAS impressive nonetheless.

I agree that the climb was made to look more steeper than it probably really was - all done by great camera work...
