I've never had any problems with the Vol Control, mind you I never touched the Playback Options.

My Net Radio & USB Music has worked flawlessly on my Vista machine. I believe that using a Thumb Drive for playing music is really an efficient & trouble free way to go. Just make sure that the size of your Thumb Drive allows the door to close. MP3s at 320 Kps sound just fine.

Question about updates (I haven't tried it yet & I think that I'll wait for some more fixes) -

*If I update through Win Vista, does it change the software version inside the AA?

**If I update through my Android Galaxy TAB S, is it the APP on the Tablet that gets updated?

Michelangelo,

How hard would it be to add some buttons to the main play screen that we could assign some of our favorite web-radio stations? It's kind of cumbersome to click browse-webradio-favorite radios, then the station every time I want to change stations. Maybe even make it easy to assign by adding another option in the dropdown menu for the station that says "Assign Pushbutton" or something like that.

Thanks!
Steve

So I did a bit more testing. I have a Denon 2112 which supports AirPlay. I am able to play Spotify via AirPlay on my iPad to the Denon with no issue. As soon as I flip to the axiom air it kicks off back to the iPad. I am not necessarily concerned about Spotify just using it to test. If it works with my receiver shouldn't it work with the AxiomAir?
So i just tested my wife's iPad with YouTube, and Apple music and it works perfectly with the Denon but will not play to the Axiomair. Let me know if you need more info. Happy to provide!

TAM, on your Win machine, you're using a Web browser. When the firmware is updated in the Air, the Web server in the Air is also updated (as needed). You don't need to update anything on your Win machine.

If you are using the Android client on your tablet, that client may not necessarily get updated. But when it does, you should receive an update notification. You can then update it and you're good to go.

I recommend you update to the latest version if you use it predominantly via Windows. Browsing is now faster. Updates are easy and robust.

You haven't had volume issues because you haven't touched the playback options.

I don't know the answers fatboy but I very much care about Spotify. I am a premium Spotify user and I absolutely love it. I want to stream Spotify over my home wifi and via the air hot spot when I am on the go. I have downloaded thousands of songs off Spotify and want to stream them to the Air when I am offline.

Agreed Spotify direct would be amazing and might move me to a premium subscriber if it works direct with the AxiomAir.

Do you have an iOS device you can test. It might be a solution if it works which I suspect it should.

I don't do Apple otherwise I would try.

The premium service gives you 320 kbps resolution and also catalogues your own music. I love the social media functions. Users can group their music into themes and share them for discovery.

Send them an email like I did asking for spotify support on the air. Axiom wants it but hasn't been able to get their attention.

I just tweeted them. If you use Twitter feel free to retweet. I added axiom and Spotify Twitter handle. My handle is Fatboycarney. Working in. Large tech company Twitter tends to get more visibility than email smile
