Your back maybe. The nurses shave mine.

Speaking of nurses. One of my caregivers found lipstick on my upper thigh Thursday night. Man did I laugh.

Avoid new update. Got into weird issues right away and now AA is dead (even power buttons don't work).

Michelangelo, Ian, is there a way to restore previous version of software from bootable USB?
How do I get a reboot with 2 batteries keeping CPU alive?

Eric, sorry to hear that. That must be totally frustrating. You must be using (a) feature(s) that I don't use because I have not had any fatal issues. Hold the power button down for > 20 seconds.

Failing that, remove the bottom cover and unplug the 3-wire connector to the Pi/DAC board. I found it's easiest to unplug from the board rather than the "backplane".

I think if you reset to factory settings via the UI, that will take you to your last version. You might have noticed when you upgrade, the Air creates a backup. I think that backup is the "factory reset". If so, it should more appropriately be called "restore from backup".

It finally came back from the dead to factory software.
All I did is try to see if volume control issue was fixed. Got same issue as previous release (volume locked to max).
Retrying the upgrade.

Could you describe a little bit better what happened with the update please?
Also, factory reset is actually a factory reset, it restores the original firmware shipped with AxiomAir

Try refreshing the web client.

The volume is still flaky. The neighbor, 75 and enjoying the sun in her lounger, freaked out at me today when the volume unexpectedly went through the roof! She asked me to turn it down, and when I tried, the Android app was disconnected. When the app re-connected, her Depends came in handy :0.

1) Updated
2) After reset, software was weird. Change the Volume Normalization to Off. Playing a DSF file using UPnP. UI was not showing what was currently playing or the queue. Volume was locked to MAX.
3) Under system tab, system was still showing 1.023
4) Rebooted
5) Software showed 1.029.
6) Tried same DSF file, failed to play
7) Using FLAC, no issue playing, but UI not showing currently playing and volume locked
8) Tried "reset user data". Same result.
9) Tried "Factory Reset" and waiting for about 30 minutes (while watching TV show).
10) Tried holding button for very long,,, no work
11) Tried step 10 every 30 minutes. Worked on the 3rd try
12) Re-upgraded. This time it rebooted right away with proper sofrware version
13) Turned off "Volume Normalization" so I could play DSF files.
14) DSF files NOT working at all anymore
15) Volume control is now OK
