Is there an internal cross over set in the reciever?
Better yet, what Yamaha reciever is it?

To confirm youre using two cables right?

Left channel through the left sub to the left speaker and right channel through the right sub to the right speaker...??

Each subs crossover at 80?

Each subs volume at 45ish?

Hi Daryl

Maybe try a different source. Perhaps spotify doesn't put out low frequencies. Is there a filter in your preamp section or signal path that might be cutting off the lows?
