I have an EP500v2. It is out of warranty. The power light is stuck on amber with no sound.
The Trim is on flat. Changing it to other settings and avoiding REMOTE and LOAD setting do nothing.
The sub was disconnected from line in and power overnight with no change.
All fuses are intact.
I connected a different sub connected to the receiver and it works just fine.
Any thoughts? I'm thinking I will probably need to buy a new sub.
Regards.

Contact Axiom. They might be able to sell you just the parts you need (prob. amp in this case). Their products are constructed to have parts replaceable by customer.

I agree it is likely the amp. Not sure I want to buy a new one versus get a whole new sub though. Will investigate. Thanks.

I have two of the EP500v4's and most of the time i swear they are not working or doing anything. Then you get to that scene on the show you are watching where the producer or sound mixer over does the LFR sounds and the whole room starts to shake with the low frequency sound.
I have had all sorts of subs, but the Axiom is the first one that really impressed me. I'd look into the option of moving up to the V4 being a sealed unit as I find it gives me more of a smile factor over the older units.
