I just called in my order: a pair of M80's, one VP150, a pair of QS8's, a pair of M22's for rears, and 4 FMB wall brackets. I already have a pair of SVS 16-46PC+ subs, so I'm expecting great things once I have everything working together. Delivery is next Monday (4/26), I'm anxious!
Thanks for all the great information I've found in the Axiom message board posts ~ this helped greatly in making my selections!

Wow!! I am so jealous it hurts. A pair of 16-46+ subs? I think I need a new keyboard because the drool just wrecked this one.
Congrats. I don't have near that setup but I think everyone would agree that that setup will rock.
Dual 16-46+'s!!!

I recently sold my house in FL and purchased a new one in AZ. I got lucky with both houses and had enough left over for some toys!

Well, there's nothing like going first class! Well Done. Hope you find them everything you expect, and more.
Moving from FL. to AZ. I think that's what they mean by "out of the frying pan, and into the fire," isn't it?

WOW!! That's going to be an incredible system you've put together. So when's the party at your place?

The old saw, "It ain't the heat, it's the humidity" is very true! Although Tucson averages 10 degrees hotter than South FL, it feels 30 degrees cooler! We've had a number of days over 90 this month and I haven't even turned on the A/C or swamp coolers yet. In FL, I'd be turning the A/C on at 80!!

I live in Cleveland, and while heat isn't a particular problem here (insert hysterical laugh track here), we are intimately acquainted with humidity, and I know exactly what you mean. Humidity is the killer.
I used to think we were so humid because of Lake Erie. Actually our prevailing wind direction is from the southwest, and our real humidity comes from Gulf of Mexico air. In the warmer months, when the wind shifts to the north, coming across the lake, it gets cool and dry (Thank you Canada, more please). Of course in the winter months when the wind shifts to the north, we get 8 tons of lake effect snow, and freeze our a** off! (So much for "Thank you Canada).

MrBill, that "dry heat" won't matter much when it's 110*+. I've been at the river when it was like 123*!!! I still want to move there, but the wife says no deal.

I agree, but the average highs here are about 100 during the hottest months of the year, so the 110+ days will be rare. Although I've only lived here for 2 months, I was here for four days last July when the daytime temps were running about 100. In spite of the fact that I was outdoors most of the each day, I barely cracked a sweat.
To keep this on topic, does anyone know what will be the effects of low humidity on the Axioms compared to using the same speakers in a more humid climate? Will they sound better, worse, no difference, what?
