hmmm, lots of thumbs up for the 3805. I checked it out on the Denon site, I DEFINITELY like the look of the 3805 vs the 3803, unfortunately I don't believe the place I will be getting the discount has that (in fact its the relabled *pro* version of the 3803, the AVR-1083)
I guess the only real concern about the 1083 (3803) is its lack of DPLIIx, from what I've been reading thats a non issue on the 7200 with its Logic7 decoder. And it looks like its a problem solved on the 3805 since it has DPLIIx.

Just thought I'd do a quick update... the discount didn't end up being what I was hoping so I'm waiting (ya all that for nuttin).
Well anyway, I guess that opens my options back up to jsut about anything
