Hello Forum Members. New guy here. I am an Axiom M80 V3 owner and I am looking into utilizing the Black Friday Sale to update my stereo set. I am interested in the Wireless M80 or M100 (undecided on size). I find very little on the new wireless units. Anyone have experience? What kind of amplification is onboard? User friendly UI? Thanks in advance for your comments.

Hi RLS,
These products are very new so we have limited reviews on them. You really have three products to choose from; the M80, M80HP, and the M100. There is a big jump in power from the M80 to the M80HP, going from 250 watts per speaker to 500 watts per speaker. The M100 is 600 watts per speaker. All of them utilize a toroidal transformer based power supply with lots of dynamic headroom. They all play loud, clean, and dynamic. We have not had a single inquiry about how to hook up the system or use the UI so that is a good sign that it is quite User Friendly. From the UI you can stream from AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, or UPnP and switch to the Optical and Analog inputs.

I went ahead with the update and got the wireless M80's. I will update as I get more familiar with using them. My goal is to have a system to play general music interests and switch to toslink for Apple TV and general TV viewing. I can say they are very nice and loud if you want. I have pics in the gallery page if anyone is interested.

Is Tidal integrated into them? Is low frequency performance sacrificed due to amp integration in the cabinet? Very nice finish by the way!

TIDAL is in there too. You just put your TIDAL username and password into the AxiomAir UI on the My Music page and TIDAL will appear on the Browse tab.

Like Bridgman said in another post, wireless speakers with integrated preamps and amps are starting to make a lot of sense. On my floor in the living room, I have a pioneer receiver with a Chromecast audio connected, an outboard amp and a CD player. With wireless speakers, I could get rid of the receiver, amp and Chromecast audio and be left with just the CD player and the Air base station. Ostensibly I could get rid of the CD player as well because I can find all my CDs on Spotify or tidal or I can dgitize my CDs.
My only question is whether or not audio performance would be impacted with electronics integrated into the speaker cabinet and if so, would it be audible?
