Good idea. I have a set of JVC from 35 years ago. I just have to find 72 gauge wire to fit in the spring clips.

72 gauge? Makes dental floss big and burly!!!
When I was still a HTIB guy, upgraded to the Monster XP. That 16 gauge was cool with those clip jacks. The most important thing I found for HT is the front stage Timbre matching. I Wonder if the changes in generation are substantial enough to really notice.

Regarding the timbre matching, I ran a 160v4 with dual M80v2 for a year. I found no discernible difference other than the fact the 160v4 was miles ahead of the 150v2.
I am of course exaggerating on 72 gauge wire as Blair already knows but I can't fit 16 gauge in there either. BTW, I have used 72 gauge wire in my career for ultra-linear magnetics.

My first pair of Axiom AX3's purchased in 1990ish had spring terminals that were fairly large. To get the 12 gauge I was using to fit required thin cable terminal ends be soldered to the cables.
