I just received my speaker stands for my QS4's. I have yet to receive the speakers (tomorrow) but I am baffled as to how these speakers are going to "rest" on these stands. The setup comes with little rubber feet but I don't see how they would help considering the width of the bracket. There are 2 holes in the bracket that I assume you screw the 2 wood screws through into the speaker? If anyone that owns these stands with these speakers could give me some input I would appreciate it. I can't have the speakers topple off the stands onto my kids head.

It is very possible that no one does have this setup but i'm sure Alan will have an answer as would Joe at customer service. Fire off an email to advice@axiomaudio.com or try the 1 800 number.
Joe is a pleasure to deal with.

A ten pound speaker to a soft skull is never a good thing. I have a lummox of a dog that bumps everything so i understand your concerns with the falling speakers, however my dog has a skull more thick than a two by four plank so i'm far more worried about the speaker.

Thanks for the advice chess, I just got off the phone with Joe. If anyone else is having an issue with the speaker stands he is the man to talk to. He told me there were either pre-drilled holes in the back or punched holes in order to screw the speaker to the stands. Another issue I was not aware of for those of you that are have vibration problems when using a stand, is that there are extra rubber feet that come with the stand. Take one of those rubber feet and put it on the back of the speaker where it comes in contact with the pole section of the stand and it should eliminate any vibrations. Chess thanks once again and I will let ya know how the setup works out.
