Thinking about pulling my L&R speakers from behind the wall of screen. On paper it works... With the MLP and L&R 7' off their (front and rear) walls the MLP and L&R will form an 8' equalatteral triangle. The center will still be ~9' from the MLP and will be just behind the screen. Pretty sure it will be at the expense of picture quality and picture size. I won't know if I can shrink the image small enough to fit between the towers until I do it. 8' is pretty close though... Tempting.

MLP would be 6' from side walls, 7' off the back wall and 8' from L,R,LRS & RRS.

Wait! I thought your room was acoustic perfection. Why are you doing this?

Lol. I didnt say that. Kinda like hearing something you like from each speaker series, I often like the difference I hear with different speaker locations.
Looking back this is damn near what was suggested years back "Blairs Den V2" with the notable difference of the L&R being infront of the screen.
Projector Centrals calculator suggests it'll work with a 84" diagonal image.
I would be about that far from the screen.

Think I'll leave the speakers where they are and move the screen up to the new location. Toy with the image quality there first.

Couldn't help myself. Loving it. Left the seats, subs and surrounds alone. Moved the wall of screen and LCR. Screen size is perfect. Haven't adjusted the focus yet but its already good enough for the moment. L&R are 8' apart,2' off the side walls(tweeters) as planned. Some interesting points of note already but I'll likely keep it (for a while). Lol.

How far away is MLP? And how far from the front wall are the fronts?

What really stood out was the clatiry of brass instruments. Curious Goerge has lots. With respect to image quality it improved to and I still feel the need to touch up the focus.

That's your M80s begging to be upgraded to active LFR1100s.

Blair, your speaker re-arrangement is inspiring me to bi-amp my 160. We'll see if I can make its dust caps glow red.

2" pivot and they're still not aimed directly at the mlp. Funny how things go. Like some aspects others not so much.

"Tighter" bass, improved imaging but narrower soundstage. Nirvana lies somewhere between no toe-in and extreme toe-in for MLPs less than 12 feet.

Surrounds nearly off at -10 and -9.5 respectively and still the image from the lcr interferes with the surrounds/vice versa but the afore mentioned authority needs them on at its best. Still testing the waters... Moved the seat back nearly to where it has been.
