Who would have thought society has become so pampered they're hoarding toilet paper.

I load up on non-perishables only because I hate having to buy them every week. It's more efficient this way. Unfortunately, it makes my last will and testament more difficult because I have to bequeath different non-perishables to different people. One of my friends for example doesn't like my toilet paper brand so he gets all of my Kleenex.

Interesting point Mr. Mojo. I don't have a will and have been thinking about who should get my audio systems in the event of the simultaneously inevitable and unthinkable. (I'm hoping the inevitable portion is way down the road, but, hey, Zombie Apocalypse man)

In the meantime, I am stocked with hard goods, rice, black beans, Starkist white albacore tuna* in metalized pouches, frozen foods, and paper goods.

I will be limiting my contact with people and listening to a lot of music and watching movies. I just completed an 8 day jury trial, and my trial which was scheduled to begin this Monday has been continued to June.

* Recipe: White Albacore tuna, mayo, curry powder, sliced serrano peppers, fresh cilantro ... Yum!

Please put writing a will on your list of things to do during your isolation.

You too Mr. Mojo. You might want to consider establishing a trust which will fund a museum of Axiom products as you seem to own the entire product line!

Never in my life did I think I would end up calling friends & family to make sure they were OK for toilet paper and asking what their favorite brand was.

The results were roughly:

1/3 Royale
1/3 Cashmere
1/3 "anything but Cashmere Extra Strong, that stuff is gross"

By the time I got to a store with any stock left, all they had was Cashmere Extra Strong anyways.

John, you might want to set up a poll on SurveyMonkey for your loved ones. They may change their minds over time. It would be terrible to memorialize your departure by bequeathing an unsuitable brand of butt wipe.

No worries... I stocked up on rye, tequila, dried beans and frozen vegetables instead. No run on broccoli yet, oddly enough.

Felt a bit strange standing in a lineup of people with carts full of toilet paper and only buying a couple of packages (one for me and one for neighbors) though.

Toilet paper supply seems to be fine other than the supply chain being temporarily emptied.

That's for sure ... went out for some paper goods as we were low and the shelves were stripped bare ... what's up with that?

I personally find it uncomfortable substituting any of the above for toilet paper.
