Started up a movie (daredevil on Netflix. Not bad ... glad I didn’t spend any money on it). and something wasn’t right. I looked up and the left M2 was pushed back a foot and was pointed toward the right wall. Now that everyone is home this has been happening a lot. For some reason or other someone decides that speaker is in the way. At first it was my wife trying to make her workout space larger. Now I suspect the kids are moving it to make more room for ping pong. I sort of given up on telling people not to move it. Think going forward I’ll mark It’s orientation on the floor and tell everyone to put it back If they moved it. Luckily the M2s are very easy and forgiving on setup. Unfortunately they are easy to move.

You must love them very much to let those transgressions go without consequences.

That sucks. No kids here so we just have to be careful when vacuuming.

In a high traffic area those BT77 wall mounts come in handy. Electronics for less.

The family room is common space for everyone’s use so I have less control over it.

Im sure if you asked the others in my family they will tell you that the system sounds no different before and after setup ... they just humor me . Luckily the system is mostly used for tv and movies. So placement is not as critical and the M2 setup is a breeze. If these were the LFRs I’d be reading the riot act.

You mean on walls ... I suspect the in wall is too much of a compromise for me ... I do have a pair of M3iw’s I should setup and test out to know for sure but it’s not a high priority.

According to bman, M5IW were a big compromise compared to M5OW.

Aren't speakers amazing? They get twisted around by insensitive family members, punted by couriers, punished by listeners and yet they keep on pleasing. I celebrated them this afternoon by listening to Boz Scaggs while penciling and painting with my buddy of 43 years.

No, a Scaggs playlist. Thanks, I'll have to check that out. All his stuff is ace! What a pro.
