Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an AxiomAir speaker and when I tried to download the AxiomAir app from the Google Play Store, it was nowhere to be found (ditto when using the link from the QR code in the speaker manual). Does anyone know if and when it will be coming back? (I'm assuming the answer to the "if" is yes, since it's an important part of the speaker's functionality IMHO).

Just coming in to report that the app is now showing up on the store for me after a few days where it wouldn't - my apologies if there was some technical glitch on my side that got fixed in some way unbeknownst to me!

I'm seeing the AxiomAir app on the Play Store frpm my Android phone. Strangely, it shows the 'Install' button even though I already have the app installed. I wonder if it's been recently updated and either Google or Axiom has a bug.

Hi guys,

None of this was your doing smile
What actually happend was that Google decided (rather unilaterally) to deprecate certain APIs that we used in the Axiom Air app and, in so doing, remove all apps that used said APIs.
We ended up rewriting the app from scratch and resubmitting it to Google for approval.
That also explains why the newer version of the app would say "Install" instead of "Update". Its really a brand new app and you can safely uninstall the old one.

Best regards,

Guillaume
