Me? YOU! You're the one who needs a frontal lobe upgrade. You've only got two measly 600s while I have seven sealed subs plus four ported. And when I get tired of 8K sound from my ALFRs, I go retro with M3s or M50s.

So yeah. As you can tell from my listening habits, my synapses are firing in perfect sync. A perfect 10 my sanity is.

Mem glitch-> random reset -> which probably is kicking off a reorder of that single sub you wanted … Dude, gotta get out of that loop!!

Two of my synapses were in undeclared states. I've fixed that and now realize what I have to do. Upgrade my 500s and 600s to 800s.

That is the clearly the solution. You should have thought of that sooner. I think that you will find what you are looking for if you upgrade your 500 to 600 and 600 to 800.

I think that you’ll also be further satisfied by upgrading your 125s to 175. And you better try some twin 350s too just in case.

Then and only then will you be grounded in reality.

It’s so obvious that is what you need.

Totally. M5 has certainly crossed my mind. I’ve spent a quite a bit recently on amps and components for all the systems. I’d like to get a couple good subs to replace the cheepy one I’ve got here. Having the low end in place now makes the m60ti really satisfying. I’m leanings towards another floorstander at some point but I agree an m5 would be a great trade up.

I’m really enjoying the m60ti with real power behind it. M5 with real power could be even better! Hmmmmmm.

Now you got me chatting…..I just love my M3s. In my bedroom on my new to me Marantz integrated is just really good! It’s so satisfying. The music happens in the air between the speakers. It’s the most real I’ve heard.

There’s something intangible about it. And I will say too that records have a different and very pleasing sound. I don’t have many records to compare but so far it’s great.

Isn't it amazing how satisfying intermodulation distortion from the M3's 6.5" mid-woofer and channel cross-talk from vinyl can be? Now add in harmonic distortion from a tube amp and you're in a whole new world of retro cool.

It is amazing. I love it. It’s really fun having different systems and different spaces and different sources.

A tube amp is definite on the list to try out.

What's the physical set-up in your bedroom like? How big is the room, how far apart are the M3s and how far from the front and side walls? How far away are you when you listen?

I’ll get back to you on this. I just got some stands for the m3s and will be able to do some further fine tuning after I get them assembled and setup. I’ve just been using chairs up until now to sit the m3s on.
